Default Are blogs going to replace Press releases??

Steve Rubel recently wrote "Blogs are the New Press Releases." Are you agree with that??

In my opnion, blog complete press release but will never really replace them.
New media journalists want scoops. It's scoops that help differentiate one writer from another. No self-respecting journalist wants to get the same story everyone got!!

Blogs, like press releases, are essentially tools in the marketing arsenal. They're not going to replace phone calls, briefings or personal relationships or contact. I think we need to use it as a complement. They are really good for background, opinion, illustration, explanation and obviously positioning, but will not replace our personal communication skills!
